Claudia Searle

Pelvic Health & Orthopedic Physiotherapist

Claudia discovered her passion for pelvic health during a student placement, where she saw firsthand how impactful it could be to help individuals overcome challenges that affect their quality of life. By creating a safe, supportive space for treatment, she realized the profound difference physiotherapy could make. As an avid runner who has personally dealt with injuries, Claudia understands the importance of getting back to the activities people love, which further fueled her desire to help others on their recovery journey.

Claudia’s approach blends evidence-based practice with a deep understanding of the emotional and physical aspects of pelvic health. She takes a goal-oriented approach to treatment, working closely with each patient to set personalized goals that align with their unique needs and lifestyle. Claudia is passionate about empowering her patients through education, helping them understand their bodies, and equipping them with the tools they need to achieve lasting improvement. By focusing on each individual’s goals, Claudia ensures that her patients not only recover, but regain the confidence and ability to enjoy their daily activities to the fullest.

Claudia graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Sciences in Human Kinetics and Masters in Health Sciences in Physical Therapy. She is a firm believer that education never ends and has taken several additional courses to enhance her treatment practices. Some of her training includes: PHS Level 1: The Physical Therapy Approach to Anyone Experiencing Urinary Incontinence, PHS Level 2: The Role of Physiotherapy in the Treatment of Anyone Experiencing Pelvic Pain Through a Trauma Informed Lens, The Running Athlete, Treating and training the female runner (or any female athlete), Labour and Birth Preparation for Clinical Practice, and Bowel and Bladder Treatment of the Client with Neurological Dysfunction.

When she’s not helping her patients achieve their wellness goals, Claudia enjoys spending time outdoors working towards her own goals. Whether running, biking, or skiing in the stunning Gatineau Park, she finds herself recharging outside. Claudia also loves to spend her weekends on camping trips either canoeing or hiking.

Claudia is proud to offer services in French and English.
